Our Mortadella has an intense, slightly spicy aroma, and full flavour.
In addition to being delicious, it is also wonderfully genuine. From a nutritional point of view, it has a fine balance of mostly monounsaturated fatty acids, those, as contained in olive oil, that the best for the human body. Furthermore, it has particularly low cholesterol: in 100 grams of our mortadella, there are only 70 milligrams of cholesterol, a value very similar to that, for example, of sea bass or chicken. Regarding the ingredients, the special fat, called “lardelli”, used for this mortadella comes mainly from neck fat, which is the firmest of pork fats, and, therefore, the most valuable.
Mortadella is made according to a centuries-old Italian tradition, using techniques that are unique in the world.
