Description
Salumificio di Franciacorta offers various salted and flavoured lards, including this typical lardo pancettato, a truly exceptional product. It is trimmed, skinned, salted and massaged, before being placed in special containers for a period of rest. It consists of three layers of lard, stuffed into casings and left to mature for over sixty days. Cut into very thin slices, it has a lovely, light pinkish white colour. It has a wonderfully delicate flavour.
