Our story began in 1965 at Umberto Bresciani's family farmhouse in Timoline di Corte Franca - in the heart of Franciacorta - when he founded Salumificio Bresciani: a company that cared and was able to stand out for its sophisticated production of salamis.

The comprehensive, high-quality range also included pancetta, coppa, fresh delicatessen products - including salamella and luganega - and boiled meats, cotechino being a prime example.
Deeply rooted in the surrounding area, the seventies saw the arrival of Umberto’s nephews, Angiolino and Renato, and Salumificio Bresciani began to expand before becoming Salumificio di Franciacorta in the nineties: a company capable of meeting the increasing demands of an ever-growing market.
Armed with a tradition that is more alive than ever, Pietro, Manuela, Sabrina and Stefania now represent the third generation of a company that is synonymous with an authentic and genuine taste which is impossible to resist. A supplier you can trust, there for you and the end customer.

One hundred per cent Italian recipes

All of our meats come exclusively from Italian pigs. When they arrive in the workshop each day, they are processed using traditional meat curing methods.

Cleaning, mincing, salting, filling and tying: each step is crucial to the creation of cured meats with a unique taste that is full of character. A taste that is an expression of an area now considered among Italy's gastronomic delights: Franciacorta.

What sets us apart is our ability to preserve artisan methods while innovating at the same time, creating products that are as good as they were 50 years ago, but with a confidence that only modern production and testing methods can guarantee.

We still use artisan methods and techniques: they are now established family traditions that we preserve and pass on to new generations with care, in order to continue to breathe life into products of exceptional goodness and quality. On the other hand, we have modern facilities covering an area of 5,000m2 that boast cutting-edge equipment and instrumentation. The production chain is checked and verified daily, in order to provide new products that can always be trusted.
